Sessions Offered: Virtually + In-Person

I am a Registered Social Worker in Ontario Canada, and Certified Child Life Specialist with a passion for learning how our relationships with ourselves, our attachments and relationships with others, and our relationships to the world around us affect our sense of balance and wellness. Imbalance in these relationships can often be a root cause of anxiety, which current somatic and relational approaches to therapy recognize as a natural nervous system response to anything that upsets our sense of safety.

My approach to therapy is a blend of thought-body-spirit awareness and processing that integrates mind-based practices that help to gently reframe thought processes that are no longer helpful, body-based somatic practices to understand how the body responds to thoughts and experiences, and embraces the spirit of our inner selves through recognition of the human need for creativity, connection and healthy attachment. This can be in our relationships with a partner, family, friends, work or the community, and of course the natural environment around us. I work with a gentle yet direct, inquiry-based method to help discover the root cause of thoughts, feelings and behaviours that may be interfering with living from a place of desired balance within, in relationships, work and life.
