Monica is a Minnesota-based therapist and coach with an instinctual ability to reveal nuanced aspects and/or patterns of each individual that often have been missed, misunderstood, or dismissed in previous attempts at professional or self examination.  She often works with individuals who are currently high-achieving, highly sensitive, self-aware and interpersonally skilled yet may have a history of trauma or addiction and are also experiencing distress in their relationship with themselves and/or their relationships with others.

She challenges traditional siloed models of mental health therapy, instead creatively weaving each strand of the client’s unique complexity into her conceptualization process. Honoring the intricacies and often less visible aspects of each individual’s story provides the client with a fresh opportunity to authentically understand, and strengthen their relationship with, their inner and outer self as well as the external relationships and structures in which they exist. In sessions, Monica’s approach is direct, her thinking divergent, and her ability to make unseen connections is eerie.

In addition to her individual therapy and coaching, she also provides support for couples and parents.
