Hi, I’m Shelby Leigh (she/her), a Somatic Psychotherapist, assessor, coach, educator, meditation teacher, and Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience.

My work is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in nervous system support, helping neurocomplex individuals connect with their brilliance, self-worth, and inner steadiness. I integrate somatic practices, attachment theory, and trauma-informed mindfulness to create spaces that feel like a deep exhale—welcoming, curious, and grounded.

My own neurocomplex path through anxiety, depression, and intensity led me to this work, and I now support others in tapping into their creativity, aliveness, compassion and steadiness.

When I’m not with clients, you’ll find me road-tripping, soaking in nature, writing, stargazing from a canoe, or walking with my dogs Luna and Ripley. From my practice in Bend, OR, I offer Adult Autism and ADHD assessments, Giftedness profiling, and somatic support for healing that honors wholeness and difference.

Superwell Specialties.

Gifted-Specific Support

I offer Autism & ADHD assessments, giftedness profiling, and 1:1 nervous system support sessions tailored to gifted clients. My work focuses on supporting their unique neurodivergent needs and helping them build safety and wholehearted self-expression.

Gifted-specific training completed through Lindsey Mackereth.

Creativity-Specific Support

I support creative clients through 1:1 somatic nervous system work, helping them increase a sense of safety in their bodies. This foundation allows them to reconnect with their authentic selves and express their creativity more fully and wholeheartedly.

Neurodivergent-Specific Support

I offer trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming support that honors each client’s unique wiring, pacing, and needs. My work focuses on helping late-identified, high-masking, and sensitive neurodivergent adults—particularly those navigating autism, ADHD, giftedness, burnout, complex PTSD, and chronic health challenges—reconnect with self-trust and deep belonging. Together, we cultivate curiosity, softness, and sustainable healing.

Neurodivergent-specific trainings include Autism & ADHD Assessments and 1:1 Nervous System Support sessions, aimed at increasing bodily safety so clients can express themselves more fully and authentically.

Fun Stuff.

What is your favorite book?

Heart Minded by Sarah Blondin

How do your clients describe you?

My clients often describe me as warm, deeply attuned, grounded, and compassionate. They say I bring a sense of calm, safety, and welcome-ness into the room—like they can finally exhale. Many express feeling truly seen, validated compassionately supported in ways they didn’t know were possible.

What are your creative outlets?

Writing, interior design, playing my guitar and singing

What is one of your quirks and/or special talents?

Writing half-finished memoirs and drinking 3 drinks at the same time.

What would you do with $10M?

I’d create multiple land-based, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming healing sanctuaries where people could unmask, rest, reconnect with their bodies, and remember they are not broken. I'd fund scholarships for late-diagnosed and multiply-marginalized folks seeking affirming assessment, care, and community. I’d support practitioners doing this work so they can thrive, not burn out. I’d build pathways for young people to access nervous system education, somatic tools, and mentorship. And I'd make sure I had enough time, spaciousness, and dog treats to wander the woods, write, and keep asking big questions in good company.
